Hello Listers, Does anyone know where the records are held of the baptisms 1925 to 1934 of St Eunan's Church Raphoe? I've writen to the Raphoe Archivist and been informed that they do not hold the records, they have suggested trying Donegal Ancestry but I'm told that they are very expensive to commission. Kindest regards Jackie.
Jackie . You are lucky , they answered you. I sent £20 sterling and asked if they had records for about 1780 for my Mary and Aaron Thompson births with a stamped addressed return envelope . Never got an answer . Jackie , Donegal Ancestry cannot charge you for asking . Jackie - this may not be what you are looking for, I'm not familiar with the geography of the places named. Here are the details for a batch of 5 films offered for rental if you order them into a Family History Center. It suggests you may need to view Letterkenny but I'm not really sure. Anyone understand what is indicated for the correct film for the St. Eunan's church records ? Rental of a film here in the US is $5.50 per 5 week rental period. Write if either of the 2 films noted as being permanently held at the local FHC will assist your search. Meg Greenwood / Oklahoma USA ====================== Notes Some writing is faded and illegible. The Catholic parish of Conwal and Leck, now called Letterkenny, includes the civil parish of Conwal and part of Leck.
