Good evening from S.E. Queensland, Australia.I believe my great gandmother Ellen Ferry was from Dunfanaghy - also believe she travelled to Australia with her sister (Ann) and married brother and his wife(John and Fanny) aboard the CARIBOU, arriving in Sydney in October 1859. I also believe that another sister( Bridget)was sent out here(Australia) on the Lady Kennaway, aged 14as an Irish orphan. From the transcripts* believe their father was Michael and their mother, Mary. They were Catholic. If anyone has even the slightest piece of info on the family or their descendants I would be ever so grateful. Proud of my *Irish Heritage, Beverley
