    3. Vanessa, There is a well-known Clare historian by the name of Seán Kierse. I wonder if he knows anything about these families. 1. [IRL-CLARE-PROJECTS] County Clare Library forum
    2. Patrick Casey
    3. On the Clare County Library website home page under Special Services (the place you go for the Browsealoud facility) you will find a link with the eye-catching name Library Forum A partnership of Clare County Library and Pictou-Antigonish Regional Library. If you click on that link you will see that the Clare Library, in partnership with the Pictou-Antigonish Regional Library in Nova Scotia, has been working on a Library Forum with a section called Clare Past which covers Genealogy, Archaeology, History, Heritage & Folklore. The forum has not yet been publically announced because the plumbers and carpenters and electricians and decorators are still in there tightening screws, making adjustments and applying coats of paint but I have been assured that family historians who want to enrol are at liberty to do so. It would be preferred if people would sign in under real names or real-sounding names rather than nicknames like Gonzo or TrendyMan but that's up to you it seems. I've joined up and no-one has debited my credit card so it seems to be free. So go over there, sign in at the door, and take a walk through the colonnades of the Library forum. Paddy
