Thanks very much for flagging this, Sharon. I've just downloaded the file of the lecture "Irish Estate Paper Records as Sources for Ancestral Research" by Susan Hood at the 2006 FGC/NEHGS conference in Boston which you mentioned and am listening to it. It is excellent value. What a pity one cannot see the slides where the speaker (Susan Hood) is listing the various archives where the material is housed. Also, the speaker refers constantly to a syllabus which was issued to the participants. It seems that the syllabus was going to be reprinted but that the society has now decided not to reprint it. I'm going to write to the speaker to see whether there is any way to obtain these materials. Will let you know the outcome. Fast work on that, Paddy. Yes, I also am interested and will await word on the fate of the syllabus. Thanks for keeping us in the loop on this. Sharon C.
