I've found the error of my search. Searching for Kilrush County Clare Kilrush in the townland field and County Clare from the dropdown gets nothing because I had must match EXACTLY. Change that to ANYWHERE in field and you get results. Searching for Kilrush Town and EXACT gets no results. Likewise, searching Kilrush T and EXACT gets no results. Searching Kilrush T. (Note the period after the T.) and EXACT gets results. So best to use ANYWHERE in field or the other options for results. I have really loved this website for years - it gave me the opportunity to learn the townland names near our ancestors "hometown".
