Just to let the List know that the Queensland Government has finally posted the Births, Deaths and Marriage Indexes for 1829-1914 online. At this stage a search of the Index is free but (apparently) if you want anything more there are costs involved. It has been inundated. Also they have placed the Immigration lists online as well. http://www.archives.qld.gov.au.research/index I have tried it out and had trouble with wrong names coming up and slipping from marriages to births requests.
