    3. Well, it certainly would be nice if Clare's Church records were more availabe. What you have from Griffiths and Army records makes good sense. I have transcribed all the LYNCH associated names from the Kilrush PR's [St Senan's] which are on the Clare Library site but unfortunately they only existed from late 1827 whereas my John was born June 1827 [as per his army marriage record in India], so it would have been fantastic if the PR's were just that 6 mths earlier.
