    3. A little late to be replying to this, but I have Galvins, Hickeys and Lynchs intermarrying in the Hunter Valley. A number of them were from Co Clare. If these sound like any of your families, I'd be very pleased to hear back. 3. Hi Anne I don't have a Hickey or Lynch connection, but I do have Galvin's. Michael Galvin - Baptised in Doora/Barefield, Co Clare in 1845. Parents of Michael are Patrick and Catherine (Hogan) Galvin. His siblings are Mary and 2x Patrick's. Michael married in Au in 1875 and after traveling between Aust and New Zealand for several years finally settled in Northland, New Zealand. I have not had any luck with further information of Ireland, but think the family where in the Ballymulqueeny, Templemaley area, as I have been able to see all the surnames of the people who were sponsors to the baptisms in these areas - very much an assumption. Surnames of sponsors are - Hogan, Roughan, Garvey and Mulcreevy. Does any of this fit with your Galvin's??
