My gr grandfather William Francis Quinn was born in May 1862 supposedly in Clare to Henry and Annie Melia Quinn. He/they immigrated to the US in 1867/8 to where I know not. The the first real documentation is his 1884 marriage to Annie Teresa Coyle in Ballard Vale (Andover) mass. Annie was born in Ballard vale abt 1856 to immigrants John, son of Peter and Rose Gaffney, and Annie Caffrey, daughter of Owen and Ann Gibney Coyle. John and Annie had Ireland born Peter 1845 and Rose 1848.  I'd love to find out from where these families came and where in the states William was for 15 years.
