    3. Hi Dale James and Mary Galvin married in the 1840s before emigrating in 1849. My great grandfather was Michael Galvin son of James Galvin and Mary O'Connor/s or Connors. He also had a brother called Patrick and a sister Mary. The family emigrated on the Lloyds in 1849, initally settling in Morpeth before moving up to Muswellbrook and farming there. The Hickey and Lynch connections were farmers in the same area. James and Mary had several more children born in NSW. I think James parents were James and Bridget. There is a Galvin researcher who has tried to outline all the Galvin lines in NSW and she noted it got too difficult as there were too many Patricks, Michaels etc. So no, unfortunately, no connection that I know.
