Hi Christine Thank you for your email, I think its likely that at least one of the Rochford girls who came to Australia in the 1860's had gone to the USA and returned to Ireland before coming here, they all arrived on ships from England and I feel confident I have the right people as the put their parents names on their marriage certificates. I also have a couple of lovely photos apparently taken in Australia about 1880 and sent back to relatives in Ireland. My Tulla 'cousins' allowed me to copy them. I will keep my fingers crossed for some contacts You know what they say Ireland's greatest export was/ is her people. Australia was not much affected by the GFC and it's not uncommon to hear young Irish voices working around Sydney all the best Patrick
