    2. The Irish Times site is great for figuring out where civil and Catholic parishes are: http://www.irishtimes.com/ancestor/fuses/civilparish/index.cfm?fuseaction=GetMap&CityCounty=Clare&UserID= In this case, they're both in central Clare. Are they civil parishes or RC parishes? What areas of Clare would they cover? 3. My McMahons come from Templemaly - from Ballycorey to be exact. The family was Michael and Anne (nee Collins) McMahon. Five of their children came to the Australian goldfields - Thomas (married in Clare to Hanora Hartigan), Patrick, Mary Anne, Anne and Catherine (married and widowed in Clare to John O'Brien). I assume there would have been another son Michael, named after the father. Each of the Australian families had a daughter named Veronica which makes me wonder if there was a sister named Veronica who perhaps died in Ireland. I would love to hear of anyone tracing this family. I have much information on the family after settling in Australia, but know very little of their Irish background. Regards, Marg Watson, central Victoria, Australia. -----Original Message----- From: dlculhane@cs.com Sent: Tuesday, March 05, 2013 2:50 AM To: irl-clare@rootsweb.com ; IRL-CLARE-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [IRL-CLARE] Kilmaley and Templemaly The Irish Times site is great for figuring out where civil and Catholic parishes are: http://www.irishtimes.com/ancestor/fuses/civilparish/index.cfm?fuseaction=GetMap&CityCounty=Clare&UserID= In this case, they're both in central Clare.
