    3. Mary, There's just to much for one post. I suggest splitting your post into four - DALY, MURPHY, PYNE & TOWNSEND. Then elaborate on each family. Who was the daughter of Thomas Daly & Margaret Fitzpatrick. When and where was she born. Did she marry Murphy? Who was the Pyne who died in 1916. Are we looking in NSW or Clare. There's only one male death in 1916 in NSW. There's so many places to look for William Townsend in NSW. If he enlisted in Australia, you'll find his complete WWI dossier at http://naa12.naa.gov.au/Login.htm. There's 20 marriages of William Townsend on NSW BDM but only one William T. It's probable he married Nellie Lawes in 1923 at Sydney, but it would need further checking. Unfortunately Trove newspaper obituaries generally stop 1954, the year before he died. You could check Rookwood RC cemetery website to see if anyone else is buried in the same or adjacent grave. I'd also check Australian Electoral Rolls on Ancestry. While NSW only start 1930 you should find spouse and possibly adult children living in the same household. Peter

    3. Peter~       Good suggestion.  I was so overwhelmed with this treasure of letters, that my thoughts may not have been as organized as they should.  Also was relying on Ancestry and LDS.  Now know there is a Australian BMD on line, plan to use it for other ancestors we're seeking.       The 1916 expiration for ? PYNE was in County Clare as best I can discern form the letters re: the inheritance.       Thank you so much.  Appreciate your input.   Mary Ellen >________________________________ > From: Peter R Booth <pbo08596@bigpond.net.au> >To: irl-clare@rootsweb.com >Sent: Saturday, June 8, 2013 9:24 PM >Subject: Re: [IRL-CLARE] Daly, Murphy, Pyne Surname in drumline area > > >Mary, > >    There's just to much for one post.  I suggest splitting your post into >four - DALY, MURPHY, PYNE & TOWNSEND.
