    1. [IRL-CLARE] LYNCH, DUNDON, MORAN & HALLORAN & McNAMARA - ROLL CALL
    2. Joan Birtles
    3. Hi listers these are my Roll Call enquiries. I have been researching for years my John LYNCH, Deborah DUNDON, & MORAN families from Kilrush, Co Clare in the very early 1800's. I believe these 3 families to be connected but having a hard time proving it as their baptisms and marriages are all pre 1827 which is when the Kilrush PR's begin. Have searched Tithes and Griffiths for later families but without mother's name for my LYNCH's and so many LYNCH names have found it impossible. John's army record & marriage only showed his father's name and I can't find a death record for him in Australia between 1859 and 1865 when his wife remarried. The HALLORAN's & MCNAMARA's are from Tulla and I believe are from Rosslara found on the Tithes & Griffiths, but there again so many Halloran's and only Tulla mentioned on any records here in Australia [of their son Patrick & his wife and children, another child born on the voyage with further children born at Mulgoa, NSW] who emigrated as bounty immigrants in 1839. Kind regards Joan in NSW, Australia It is time for another Roll Call. **If you have never seen a Roll Call - this is where everyone tells who they are searching for all at once.** Please send in your Names and some identifying info like dates and places (if you know them). 3. Hi Joan, Just a thought re: death of John - perhaps they divorced and the wife then re-married. Divorce was not common but still a possibility. 1. Re: [IRL-CLARE] ROLL CALL <McMahon- Liddy>

    3. Stephen McMahon was born in about 1803 and supposedly worked at a Utility Co. In 1837 he married Anne (Nancy) Liddy, b. 1810. in St Peter's and Paul's in Ennis (confirmed). Witnesses - Michael McMahon and Stephen Spellicy. Anne supposedly worked at a small shop on Main St. in Ennis. Stephen emigrated to the US in 1846, settling in Collinsville, Connecticut. Anne and 2 children followed in 1850. I am trying to find any trace of Stephen or Anne's parents. Dave Spang

    1. Re: [IRL-CLARE] ROLL CALL: MALEY GREEN/E
    2. Hello All! My gg grandmother and grandfather are married in New Haven, CT 22 Jun 1862: Mary MALEY and John GREENE. Mary MALEY shown as "Maley (Melia)" (exact) on her death certificate. Both listed as being from "Clare" on daughter's death certificate. Mary b. 1840-45 John b. 1839-42 Questions: When did they come over? Where to, exactly? What townland did they come from? Do I have any other living descendents from this line? Have done the usual research, looked the usual places. Problem is that the names are so common, when I find a Mary Maley/Melia, or John Green/e, I haven't found a good way of sorting out who's mine and who isn't. ----- Original Message -----
