    1. Re: [IRL-CLARE] McNamara (+ Fitzpatrick)
    2. Hi Shane, I think you are very lucky to have a forename like Mortimore. For me it is Patrick, Elizabeth (FITZPATRICKs), Michael, John (COLLINSes), Mary McNAMARA and Joann PURCELL! You are right-McNAMARAs are all around Co. Clare. I am concentrating on the ones that are near Patrick FITZPATRICKS according to Griffith's Valuation. You might want to do the same for McNAMARA and HAYES if you haven't yet. Those places and the McNAMARAs found there are: 1.) Clooney, South Clooney Ennistimon William, John, Matthew, Michael, Daniel, Patrick, & Thomas McNamara 2.) Caherbarnagh and Deerpark West Kilmacrechy Ennistimon Capt. Francis McNamara 3.) Dough, Lehinch Town Kilmacrechy Ennistimon Michael & Thomas McNamara 4.) Caheraderry, Moymore, North, & Killaspuglonane all in Killaspuglonane John, John B. & Matthew McNamara 5.) Finnor More: Mullagh Village Kilmurry Kilrush Timothy McNamara 6.) Murrooghtoohy, South Gleninagh Ballyvaghan Capt. Francis McNamara 7.) Feakle Feakle Scarriff Patrick McNamara My Mary McNamara Fitzpatrick had a daughter in Oct. 1829 (Eliza) in Co. Clare Your Mary McNamara Hayes had a son in 1842 in Co. Clare. (Cousins???) I will check through my notes-copied from LDS microfilches-for any McNamara-Hayes connection and let you know. However, I have concentrated on the year 1829 and may be too early for your family. Eliza's birthdate & parents' names are all I have to go on. Jo Banks
