Good Afternoon All I'm e-mailing to ask if anyone on this list is researching the abovementioned John DUGGAN whose father's name was also John and his mother's maiden name was COGHLAN (given name unknown). On John the son's death certificate, it states that his father was a gentleman. John (born 1833) died in Victoria, Australia in 1890 and I would like to learn more about his background in Ireland, for example his parents and his siblings. Monday, 21 August 2006 I have a James Hanson who married a Mary A. Duggan in 1857 in Wexford. James Hanson was born around 1825 and died in Wexford in 1902. Mary Duggan was born around 1830 and died in Wexford in 1908. They had children named Anastasia (b 1858), William (b 1860), Catherine (b 1863), Anne Elizabeth (b 1865), Mary Jane (1867-1930), James (1874-1964), and Christina Agnes (1877-1922). I know that your Duggan and Hanson tie was with reference to Clare, but I a wondering if there might be a Wexford connection?
