Ciaran is indeed a gentleman and a scholar. I can attest to his generous nature, as I was the fortunate recipient of a Clare newspaper article which he located and which described the Dec 1849 eviction of my family. I have never met him, but he made that effort simply because he realized the significance of it to my research.
