    2. Hi Shane, I don't know if we can connect here, but, my great grand father's (Michael) parents were James McNamara and Annie Rogers of County Clare. Michael was born in 1856 at Maghera, County Clare - this is north-west of Killaloe, and south of Feakle. Family story is he travelled to Australia with a sister, Mary, in 1880. So your Mary McNamara may be related to my James - whereby he has named a daughter after her.
