After I sent a message early on Monday the 4th to Origins.net about access difficulty subsequent to my signing up, the following message was sent on the 5th from Origins.net: "We had a glitch early on which was fixed, we then had a very high traffic level about the middle of the day and we stopped new free accesses for about two hours. Apart from that everything was seemed OK - we were monitoring things quite closely, but we do plan to improve our monitoring tools before we do this again. We will be looking more closely at exactly what issues arose before running another free session." So, Origins.net did have the difficulties reported by various of us who posted on the 4th. Since there have been two (at least) of these free-access days so far this year, there may be others in the future, hopefully after the issues have been resolved.
