While there is nothing definitive about these findings, I do think there is a direct connection between the families named Grace who lived in Kilkishen (East Clare) and Coolmeen (West Clare, by Kilrush). At this time there are only indications of a common gene pool from which two physical traits are evident in the below records for those in both families: extreme height and a combination of blue eyes with light brown ("fair") hair. Not every Grace necessarily had both traits, as there were some men of medium height with the indicated coloring,and some tall men with black hair. (The first few listed below do not have physical descriptions.) I invite comment and further research.
