Good one Paul, I agree although the odds are in favour of Ireland winning because of the goal posts, AFL players only have to kick through the centre goal for maximum points and most are high kicks, in this game they have to kick into the net which can be blocked easier. So it would be hard to adjust their kicking style. However no matter what the rules or game format is ,it is certainly a great social event, good for the relationship between the descendants of our ancestors. Undoubtedly I'm sure all the players get together after the game for a Guinness etc. And as Padraig said "May the best team win" (on the day) Owen From: "Paul Kelly" <kellsp@optusnet.com.au> Subject: Re: [IRL-CLARE] International Football Match To: <irl-clare@rootsweb.com> Message-ID: <003b01c6fb96$7f186850$6400a8c0@MapMaster> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Re not knowing who to barrack for.
