My husband's g.grandparents were Bridget Connors and Patrick Kennedy. She was born in Kildysert in 1824 and died 1894 in Cloncolman. A relative in Co. Clare sent us a map with the homes of a few Brooks and Kennedys marked and there is one marked "Bridget Connors born here, below which is marked Grate Grand (Grange?)". There have been a few postings recently regarding Connors, Connor and O'Connor and I'm wondering if anyone knows anything about Bridget or what Grate Grand signifies. We're told she was one of 7 sisters from Kildysert. Margaret and Hanna may have been two of the sisters and Michael a brother. Thanks for any help. Ruth Brooks Delaware
