Biography of John H. Clune "Mr. Clune is a native of Ohio, and his life began in that great state on March 31, 1858. His parents, Patrick and Sarah (Bracken) Clune were natives of the Emerald Isle... the father born in county Clare and the mother in Dublin. The ir son John H. was the first born of their eleven children, eight of whom are living, four sons and dfour daughters. Both the parents have died. The father came to this country in a sailing vessel and landed at the port of New York when he was a young man. He first located in Buffalo, where he carried on a profitable industry as a contractor and jobber in street work.
