Dear Brenda I do not have any information about the O'Donaghue family but my great grandmother, Sarah Hickey, was born in Ballymorris townland, Civil Parish of Kilfintinan, County Clare, and baptised at Cratloe Parish Church on 25 March 1844. Her father was Michael Hickey and her mother was Margaret Coffee. I would be interested in exchanging information. Dear Catherine Thank you for responding. My great grandmother was Honora Donnellan before she married Michael O'Donoghue. My sister engaged the Clare Heritage Centre Corofin to do research some years ago and we have the record of many Baptisms from the Church in Cratloe. There is a close connection with the Coffey family. A James Hickey appears in the Griffith Valuation of Rateable Property 1855 in the parish of Kilfintinan in Ballymorris so perhaps he is a relative of yours.
