Larry, I am very happy to hear of this great progress. I am also relieved to have this opportunity to apologize for my attempt a few months back to offer to serve as a mentor. I misphrased that, with the result that the list was flooded with the messages of other listmembers who are seeking their Clare families. I was trying to say that, having found my Clare family, I am ready to communicate on family history if that would interest or assist Clare residents wanting to know about the American part of their families. As for websites, may I suggest Cyndi's List as the overall encyclopedia of anything related to genealogy. More than stashes of data, which are so locale-specific, I think helping family historians through the process of finding, analyzing, and re-directing their efforts is vital to making good progress in locating missing family members.
