    3. Larry, I am very happy to hear of this great progress. I am also relieved to have this opportunity to apologize for my attempt a few months back to offer to serve as a mentor. I misphrased that, with the result that the list was flooded with the messages of other listmembers who are seeking their Clare families. I was trying to say that, having found my Clare family, I am ready to communicate on family history if that would interest or assist Clare residents wanting to know about the American part of their families. So, now I can re-state that good intention: I can serve as a mentor regarding the following research areas: Donnellan families of Clare and Galway (I have two Heritage reports and 10 years of personal research) Carberry families of Clare, Westmeath, and Waterford, with good contacts for Wexford, Armagh, and Australia (10 years of personal research; maintain a family YahooGroup) Tynan family of East Clare and Durkirk NY Lenihan family of East Clare (I have the Heritage report) Arkins family of East Clare (I have the Heritage report) Hudson Valley, New York (counties of Dutchess, Ulster, Columbia, Westchester, Putnam, Orange, etc.) Wisconsin, primarily counties of Manitowoc, Sheboygan, and Ozaukee State of Georgia Province of Quebec, Canada May I ask a small favor, when you get a chance: I need the obituary from the Clare newspaper for Catherine Walsh nee Tynan died 3/7/1927 of Clontra/Cloontra, Sixmilebridge Thanks so much. I look forward to all the events in this forging of a another means of sharing our common interest in Clare family history. As for websites, may I suggest Cyndi's List as the overall encyclopedia of anything related to genealogy. More than stashes of data, which are so locale-specific, I think helping family historians through the process of finding, analyzing, and re-directing their efforts is vital to making good progress in locating missing family members.
