I read somewhere a long time ago that Sir Bernard Burke, Ulster King at Arms & founder of Burke's Peerage etc traced his ancestry back to the De Burgos, Earls of Clanricarde through the Burkes of Meelick. Unfortunately I have been unable to find either the book or article I read or Sir Bernard's tracing of his ancestry. Can anybody help me please?
