Alanna, What can I say only thanks to you and others for your efforts. To be truthful I held off replying to the Board until I collated all the posting to the Board and direct to myself. With the family search org. a number of us here in Clare were wondering how could we follow through with the information. I have learned at first hand over the last two days how to maximise the benefits of the site. [email protected] .com has never let me down. This information I have got is great. I have also sent off a request to the GRO here in Roscommon requesting a search. I seem to be just caught between the 1901 Census & records prior to 1900 with my request. I did apply locally without success but with the Church & State records. I know the record is there it is only just to find it. Alanna,Barbara. Kate, Liz, have all be great. To those abroad as members of Clare Diaspora I will try to put together a guide for all based on what I have received. While I know my problem seem to be reaching conclusion I hope to make contact with Clare County Library to add another facility to their research.
