    3. Sorry to send this whole message again... the First start of this letter/message should have been " Looking for family.ancestors of my great grandfather, Denis Carmody supposedly born in Cork 1825, I can find no relatives at all in either Cork or Clare.Hoping to find parents or any relative ancestor in cork or Clare since the Carmody's came down from Clare to Cork...In Clare may have been in Kilkee, Likrush, Ennis or Tulla, In cork somewhere close or between Liscarrol and Kilbrin (t:[IRL-CLARE] Carmody's/Clare or Cork To: [email protected], CLARE IRL IRL <[email protected]>, [email protected] Message-ID: <[email protected]>) The "Father "Denis Carmody* born Cork, 1825, also the Mother Johanna(????maiden name) in 1826, in Cork. (my great grandparents) If you check the 1871-1881 Brit. census Married approx. 1865 and lived in W.Drayton, Middlesex, England They had 4 children, Patrick b. 1858, Johanna, b.1859, *JOHN b.1863*( my grandfather who came to USA in 1889) and Denis b. 1865.. Harlington, Middlesex,Eng. died 1933 .He was with the London Metropolitan Police. They have no information other than day appointed to Police, in 1884, and retired from in 1909. He remained a bachelor. *JOHN was my grandfather, came to USA 1889, joined the US Army/Cavalry, 1895-1901. I could put in a thimble the knowledge collected over 40 years on the family; In the little bit of info collected from grandfather US Army records, supposedly his parents came from Liscarrol area of Cork. Church in Liscarrol says no info there. I cannot even find when or where in NYC, John married my grandmother, Nora Sullivan, a widow with 3 children, sometime between 1900-1901, my Father, John J. born 1902 NYC. I think they may have all belonged to a CIA department and all info is hidden secretly for all time to come and I will get answers when I meet them face to face....LOL !!! or maybe after all this searching I am paranoid?
