Is Drumcliff Cemetery a RC or Protestant or mixed depending on the era. Is there a record anywhere of those buried? What is the timeline for the burials? My g g grandmother lived on Mill St. Ennis Town in 1864 per the civil birth record of my g grandmother's delivery of her first child. My g g grandmother reported the birth. What would be the closest cemetery where she would have been buried when she expired? At one time the family lived in Smithstown. The Smithstown of barony of Lower Bunratty but there are no records for them either sacramental of civil for that area. Mary Ellen Chambers
Mary Ellen, I will be in Ennis for a few days from tomorrow, so if you would like me to take any photos for you of anything, please let me know asap. The Drumcliffe cemetery site on Clare Library has photos attached and burials began in 1789, so there is agood chance she is buried there.
