I can't answer all your questions, but my husband's side had Catholic burials there, in the area of 1928. Hope that helps. Christine, IBSSG Sure, a real job would be nice, but it would interfere with my genealogy! ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mary Ellen Chambers" <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Tuesday, July 5, 2011 9:39:40 AM Subject: [IRL-CLARE] Drumcliff Cemetery Is Drumcliff Cemetery a RC or Protestant or mixed depending on the era. Is there a record anywhere of those buried? What is the timeline for the burials? My g g grandmother lived on Mill St. Ennis Town in 1864 per the civil birth record of my g grandmother's delivery of her first child. My g g grandmother reported the birth. What would be the closest cemetery where she would have been buried when she expired? At one time the family lived in Smithstown. The Smithstown of barony of Lower Bunratty but there are no records for them either sacramental of civil for that area.
