I know I have never seen it before, so wherever you found it is somewhere I apparently have not yet been to research. The area mentioned, Kilmaly Islands, Lands of Upper Gragroe, is also unfamiliar to me. Where is it located? Based on the year of my great-grandfather's birth, it could very well be him, although he would have been only 15 years old at that time (he was born in 1808). I wonder if it was common practice for a young man of 15 years to rent and farm the land (on his own) during 1823?
