I've been a member of this List for seemingly forever, but took a rather long break from posting, choosing, instead, to chase other ancestors throughout Germany and France for a change of scenery. But now I'm back....... Oh, Joy! (Grab your children and elderly and head for safe ground!!!) (lol) What I would like to know first is if we have any current members on this list living in the Co. Clare area who are willing to do cemetery look-ups and/or take photos of gravesites in the area? TIA.....and I hope you all have a wonderful day! :) -Kat-

Hi Kat, which cemeteries in Co Clare are you interested in - I have just spent a bit of time there taking lots of photos , so I may be able to help you. Friends, I am trying to assist with a neighbors family tree. The family I am interested in is the O' Dea family from Darragh, Ennis, Co. Clare. Two brothers Michael (1908- ) & Thomas (1901-1966) where in Boston, Massachusetts from ??? to 1939 when they returned to set up business at 66 O' Connell St., Ennis. Those who have visited Ennis will be aware of this pub at 66 O' Connell St. (Great pint of Guinness). They went to what he thinks were relations the O' Keffee. They were owners of the 1st. National Stores later A & P. Atlantic. Have the good people on the list access to any records in the U.S.A. that may add to the above. Thanking you in advance. Larry.
