    1. [IRL-CLARE] gravestones Drumcliff
    2. I searched Drumcliff Cemetery for gravestones of Thomas Hehir and Anne Hehir, my great grandparents. Thomas died in 1883, age 68 and Anne in 1881, age 51. The inscription said they were from Gortmore, my grandfather's birthplace. If this couple are my g grandparents Anne would have been 16 and Thomas 28 when my grandfather was born. The stone was erected by a Martin Hehir, a son, my grandfather had a brother Martin. In their era would it have been common for a 16 year-old to be married to a 28 year-old man. Thanks, Joan Floegel

    3. I think my Nestors would have been buried in Drumcliff cemetery. That is, if they existed at all and are not just figments of my imagination. Which sometimes I think they must be. Seriously, is there a record of memorial inscriptions for Drumcliff? Thanks Margaret -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] Sent: Monday, February 28, 2011 5:24 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [IRL-CLARE] gravestones Drumcliff I searched Drumcliff Cemetery for gravestones of Thomas Hehir and Anne Hehir, my great grandparents.
