I am seeking any information on Nora Fitzgerald (born c. 1774) who married John Hannan (Nil details). They had 2 children that I know of - Sarah (b. c 1810/11); Thomas (b. c. 1822) There may have been an earlier son - (Michael (b. c. 1809) but I have no evidence if this. The family may have been from County Limerick rather than C. Clare but unsure on this point. Norah Hannan and her children Sarah and Thomas travelled with Mr and Mrs Thomas Fitzgerald and their seven children plus Mr and Mrs Michael Enright and their three children on board the barque "George" from Liverpool and arrived in Tasmania on 7 November 1842. Norah was shown as a widow (so it seems clear that her husband John died in Ireland approx between 1822 and 1842) . Norah whose maiden name was Fitzgerald was may have been Thomas Fitzgerald's sister. Their religion was Roman Catholic. Any assistance in tracing their origins in Ireland would be appreciated.
