Would anyone know the name of the RC church in Kilbrin Cork and where records would be., and the parish they would be in. I mislaid my address book and cannot find it at the moment. I had written some time back for records of Carmody family in that area, probably Kilbrin-Knockcollig and Liscarroll , from 1820-50,thinking my great grandparents met there and married. Seems when they did marry it was in 1857 in Middlesex,Eng. C of E church as no RC church in Uxbridge area for another 10 years. So maybe it was my ggg-grandparents then they moved on. I am tired of waiting for answers, 2 years now, since I wrote and sent donation, and have had no answers by phone, except these, "priest busy or out of area, not home, no one available to do research for births in 1825 for Denis Carmody, and last message sent records to another church, but not where." Despite donation sent. I am looking for record of DENIS CARMODY b. 1825, and any siblings PLUS his father PATRICK CARMODY b. approx.1790-1800. I know there is a Patrick Carmody from Kilbrin b. 1845, and he is related in some way, as cousin or nephew of my great grandfather. he arrived in same area of Middlesex years later. Also hoping there is a Patrick COURTNEY in same area and b. approx. 1800-30. He would be a father- in-law to my Uncle Patrick Thank you for reading and any help you cane impart.
