    3. Can anyone help me locate any of my relatives - O'DONNELL - from Liscannor in County Clare? My great grandfather - JEREMIAH O'DONNELL and great grandmother MARY REIDY O'DONNELL came from there to Elmira, New York. I believe JEREMIAH had tweo brothers - PATRICK & FRANCIS - who remained behind in Ireland.

    2. Hi Meaghan, I am forwarding your request to a Martin Killeen who lives in County Clare. Martin and I met a few years back while we both were searching for our roots., we share great, great, great grandparents. If memory serves correct they are g, g, for me and g, g, g grandparents for him, he is a generation younger than me. I am related through his maternal line, Casey, his paternal line is Killeen. I hope there is a connection for you, it is exciting when one makes a positive connection. Good luck! Sincerely, Joan Floegel Maitland, FL -----Original Message----- From: Killeen, Meaghan <[email protected]> To: IRL-CLARE <[email protected]> Sent: Tue, Apr 5, 2011 11:43 am Subject: [IRL-CLARE] Marriage Records for Kilrush Hi Everyone, I am trying to make the leap across the Atlantic in the search for my ancestors. I only know that my Killeen relatives came from Kilrush. John Killeen, my great-great-great-grandfather married Susan Carey. They had at least one child named George E. Killeen, born ~August 1835. I would like to find a marriage record for John and Susan or a birth record for George. I'm just not sure how to start looking. I have searched online but have been unable to find anything positive. I'd appreciate any help. Thanks! 3. Subject: Clare Roots on air A Chairde, Thanks to PAddy Casey, Clare Roots Society webmaster in Switzerland, we have podcasts of both the live Clare FM interview this morning with Gerry Kennedy and Paddy Waldron, and the pre-recorded interview with Oliver Moylan, Paddy Waldron and Eric Shaw broadcast on RTE radio's Pat Kenny show this morning. Paddy Waldron and Gerry Kennedy appeared on the John Cooke Show on Clare FM to answer questions on the Census 2011 versus 1911. http://www.clareroots.org/ClareFMCensusCRSRecording-%208-Apr-2011.mp3 Later, on the Pat Kenny Show, Valerie Cox, reporter, used Bindon Street in Ennis to illustrate the wealth of detail that is available in the 1901 and 1911 Census. Valerie had been briefed by Catriona Crowe on Clare Roots and it was she that suggested to Valerie that she use Bindon Street as an example. Valerie spoke to a number of Clare Roots members as she walked the street. Contributors include Paddy Waldron, Eric Shaw and guest Oliver Moylan. http://www.clareroots.org/CRS-%20RTE-recording-08-Apr-2011.mp3

They were asked to be there at 9.30 am but have no idea when exactly they might be on. 2. 3. Thanks to Larry and Donie, I've now renewed a Sullivan family link that was lost 85 years ago when a sudden death caused branches in Ireland and Australia to stop communicating. I've just received a copy of the last letter sent in 1925, and I've successfully identified all those mentioned. I'd be happy to hear from any Sullivan families who think they may have links to these areas and I'll try and put together a wider family tree. 3. Looking for possible John, Patrick or Denis in Clare in Clare, just about anywhere. I am still trying to find any ancestors who may have moved down to Cork by 1825, on way to USA but wound up in England by 1860's for work. Or pass on to any CArmody you may know that might have ancestors who did as mine did. Does anyone in Ennis, or anyone in Clare know how the name Carmody became one of the main streets there?
