    3. Marguirite, If there are other books like the one I am borrowing, I don't know about them. The book I have is titled "Knockbride - A History", and it is edited by two gentlemen, Eugene Markey and John Clarke, and while I can locate no date of publication, it was within the last 10-15 years. I don't know if it is still available for purchase, but another lister, Barbara Hollis, has been looking for this book for a while and stated in her last post that it is out of print. I borrowed my copy from a dear, sweet lady I met in my visit to Bailieborough, Cavan, Ireland, this past week. I met her on the street when I was looking for information on the whereabouts of a public restroom, and it turns out she is a relative! The book belonged to her late husband, and she graciously allowed me to borrow it. I am attempting to scan it to be able to keep the information for reference, and then return it to her by mail as soon as possible. I have another book, written by a Killinkere native, again, not available to purchase any longer, that deals more particularly with the Killinkere area, and I am in the middle of attempting to create a surname database for that book. It may take me some time (and since I will be out of town for July and August, that may mean a few months), but I will be happy to keep a lookout for your names in both books and let you know if I find anything. You may write to my at my email address and tell me any other details you think helpful - knowing if they were Catholic, Church of Ireland, or Presbyterian can help with the Knockbride book, and any townlands or specific regions associated with your family can also assist me to be extra careful when perusing those lists.
