>From beautiful snowy & Icy mountains of NC USA; Cannot find any confirming church records or Civil records after ten years of research, My gggrandmother Francis/Mary Lovett-Phillips left Cavan Ireland in 1851 with her two daughters Mary (6) and my Ggrandmother Delia/Brid Phillips (4). No sign of her husband Peter Phillips. ???? Typical of my Irish women ancestors, as Francis/Mary aged, her birth years varied from (1811) on boat in 1851 to (1826) at death in NYC in 1892. Her Cavan father (no first name- Lovett) she listed as a "gardener" when Francis entered NYC Blackwell Islands Almshouse in 1891. Since daughter Delia's first child 1869 NYC, of many was my Grandfather James, fairly certain Francis/Mary's father was JAMES Lovett. Religion issues. Most Lovett's in Cavan from Belturbit were Church of Ireland., Delia married Catholic in 1867 in NYC to my ggrandfather Bernard McElroy from Fermanagh. Dick Webber
