Philip MEEHAN came to the US in 1842.  He and Elizabeth CROSS Meehan are from Cavan--I don't know where.  Do you recognize either one of these surnames?  Born to them in Connecticut in 1847 was Andrew, and Catherine Ann was born in Missouri in 1865, but to a different mother. Sally
