Please send your message to the mail list instead of me directly. It is necessary that each of you save the mail list address in your address book that is the proper address to which to send new posts. That way you will not be replying directly to me. I get hundreds of emails a day and unnecessary emails cause me undue delay in getting responses that I should respond to. Your help will make a big difference for me. Also, please do not just reply keeping the same subject line in your email, unless it refers to that email. If you are posting your surnames, please place them in the subject line instead of just the words "Roll Call." When someone is searching for your surname in the archives, they won't find it, and the archives look like a mess with nothing substantive for the search engine to latch onto. Imagine doing a search for the words "roll call?" Thousands and thousands of useless responses will show up. Wouldn't you rather have some one find your post to the mail list in the archives because they were looking for your surname? Let's help each other by paying closer attention to our emails before we send them. You can always copy and paste a long (or a short) email and place it in a new email and then type the correct subject line into that space. Thank you.
