Hello Barb I have a Catherine Laughlin born Derry in 1820. She came to Australia in 1839 aboard the Hero of Malown. I have this birth information from her details on the shipping list but have never been able to find out where I would look for actual birth records - Are you dates of birth from the shipping list or have you actual birth records.
