Hello Patrick, My great-grandmother was Margaret GIBNEY. She was supposedly from Co. Caven. She married James MURRAY from Co. Fermanagh. I don't know if there is even a possibility of any connection but I don't see the name GIBNEY come up often. (hardly at all). I don't have a lot of info. on her but I would be interested in knowing more about anyone named GIBNEY.
