Cornew family im to Co Cavan from Cornwall abt. 1840. Grandparents left about 1850 went to New Jersey (Why did many from that area go to New Jersey?) James Cornew 1824-- & Catherine Henderson 1831 had John & James. John Cornew spent life in New Jersey. James went by Canoe, lived in Iowa. Tithe mentions a James Conreu. Thanks.
