Father was Peter Quin, Mother was Catherine McGinn (not sure of spelling on Scottish Marriage record) Mary had twelve (12) children (7) living on 1900 Macoupin County Census record. I found out she had triplets in Virden in August, 1884, one triplet was my grand-father Cornelius. Information is from Virden Illinois & Vicinity Obituaries - Vol 1. One died 8/22/1884 and the next June 11, 1885. Mary died in Virden March, 1917, buried in Carlinville. Peter Scanlon - born in Glasgow Scotland January 19, 1872 died in Springfield, July 8, 1948. I have his military record - buried in Butler Cemetery, Springfield. Peter was Baptized in Glasgow, Scotland 2/1/1872 at St. Joseph's Northwoodside Road Church (Catholic) (I have record) Never Married.
