Hello Mary, Would you happen to have any information on a BRADY that left County Cavan during the potato famine and arrived in NY abt. 1845 - 1850. He then left NY and settled in Rock Sound, Eleuthera, Bahama Islands. His name could have been John Davis Brady and I believe he was my Great Grandfather. Clair, I do not have information on any Bradys that left County Cavan. I have the names of some Bradys ( from the old ketter to my great great grandfather ) and their place names in Cavan. I have been able to locate those mentioned in the letter in Griffiths Valuation. I will get the names mentioned and post to the list.
