Only location given as Cavan, unknown whether county or town? Thomas Reiley born 1798-99 purported to be the gardener on an estate of Landed Gentry where he fell in love with the owner's daughter Martha Davis born 1800. They eloped and Martha was disowned. They emigrated to New Jersey USA about 1830 where they had children Edward (1831), Ellen (1831), William (1833), Catherine (1835?), Charles? (twin deceased at birth?), James (Abt. 1836), Mary Ann (1837), Thomas II (1839), Martha Davis Reiley II (1841). Thomas died early 1840s in some kind of railroad accident. Most of the children either became boatmen on Morris Canal or married such. Widow Martha remarried. Thomas may have been a widower with an earlier family and the male children of that family may have emigrated to the US about the time of his death. Best wishes, Dennis
