Hi Helen, I don't know much about the Reilly family. My great grandmother was Bridget Reilly who was born around 1874 to John and Mary Reilly. Bridget married James Hand while living in Scotland in 1896, and my grandmother Mary Catherine was born in Scotland in 1896. As I understand, James and Bridget died, and Mary Catherine went back to live with her grandparents John and Mary Reilly in Kingscourt. She lived there until coming to the US in 1914. One interesting point is that the register in Scotland that lists my grandmother's birth, also lists a Patrick Reilly being born to an Owen Reilly and Alice Hand (who were married in 1893 in Kingscourt). So they must be related by at least one of the names. That is all I have.
