    3. Hi Dave, In response to your query re Wm. Morrow b. Ireland 1797-1801 & d. 1861-1870 Ontario: Is your Wm. the son of Robert Morrow and Letitia Meharry who emigrated around 1818 and who settled on Cavan Twp., conc. 12, W 1/2 of Lot 19? According to "This Green and Pleasant Land, Chronicles of Cavan Twp." Wm. inherited this property, presumably after Robert died in 1848. Would he have moved at that time from the Duoro lot you mentioned? Or is it another Wm. Morrow? The Howden family were friends with and intermarried with the Morrows so maybe Elizabeth was a Howden? They also chose property across the concession from Robert Morrow in Cavan. My interest in the Morrow family is because Eliza/Elizabeth, one of Robert Morrow's daughters married Wm. Greer (who emigrated with my ancestor of GEORGE GREER of Cavan and so I collected data on the family in my searches years ago). One of Wm. & Elizabeth's sons was named Robert Morrow Greer (c. 1842-1867) Have you checked the Gardiner Cemetery Records? This is where Wm. & Eliza Greer and many other of the early Methodists were buried. I have borrowed through interlibrary loan the microfilm of the entries from Ontario Archives, Ms 451, reel 85; however I am not sure if there are entries if the stone is now gone. In 1989, I was able to access the actual Gardiner cemetery book through Mrs. Max Manley of R.R.#1, Fraserville, though I hardly expect that she still has the book; however there are still Manleys at this address that you can find through Canada 411. I would also try the Kawartha branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society. The cemetery book definitely has entries that are not recorded with stones in the cemetery. Good luck. Hope this info can perhaps help you. Ginny Haysom.
