    2. Peter, I believe my ancestors were from Cavan Townland in Kilmore Parish. Do you know of any way I could find any listings of tenants, or any other information that might provide some light on them? The surname is HART. Samuel Hart married Rebecca Kelly in Clare Presbyterian Church in 1840 and they left soon after for Canada. I have all the information from them to me -- they were my grandfather's grandparents. But I know nothing at all about Samuel Hart's family - his parents' names, siblings, etc. I am stuck there. Thank you. But I am doing research for a far distant Canadian cousin named Catherine Galligan whose ancestors came to Ontario in 1842.
