Is anyone researching the Craig Family from County Cavan James Craig & Catherine Drum married in County Cavan 12 July 1845 & their eldest son Peter was born there, c1848 they moved to Scotland. In 1851 they were living in the village of Langloan parish of Old Monkland in Lanarkshire Living with them were James' brother William Craig & several lodgers who also came from Cavan. Unusually the 1851 census gives the places of birth in Ireland for them all But the writing is unclear & I am unfamiliar with Cavan Place names. The places appear to be BALANDA, PILLBRIDE, PULLBRIDE, BALANEARA, PULBRIDE, LOUGH & KILLAHANIDON I assume PILLBRIDE PULLBRIDE will be Killbride.
